Phillip Liebel founded Primitive Wilderness Survival six years ago and quickly gained recognition in the field. He is well known for his ability to create primitive weapons, and actually go out and put them to use.

Tony Powers grew up walking the trap lines with his grandfather and now runs the survival business "DirtBound Survival" based in Indiana. Tony is a primitive trapping and fishing specialist, and our special guest instructor for the weekend.
Tony joined us for as a special guest instructor for the first time in 2023, and liked it so much he decided to join us! Tony now heads the knife making for us at PWS!
Jonathan is an outdoorsman, brand ambassador/influencer and wilderness skills instructor, that loves to share a campfire with anyone who would welcome him.
Canoeing, kayaking and camping since a young boy, working and living off grid in Alaska as a canoe guide and naturalist, he does his best to document it all as a content creator under the brand “TheBeardedBurton.”
